about

This album was recorded by Vancouver, Washington's Cornerstone between 1996-1998. It sat on a shelf for many years after the band split up. As band founder/bassist/singer Joshua Dalton was about to lose his battle with brain cancer, we decided to release it as a tribute to Josh and his musical genius and the years we spent together playing Jamaican-influenced music across the Pacific Northwest. It was released just days before Josh passed into energy and light. We are re-releasing it under the name "Peace and Quiet," as this is a saying that Josh held close to his heart. But make not mistake, this is Cornerstone, as they were, and are, and always will be.

(NOTE: This album has NOTHING to do with a horrible European pop band who filed a copyright dispute over the name "Cornerstone" when this album was up on iTunes and several other services. They can't hold a candle to Joshua Dalton.)
